Hi All,

I'm new to this site. Please let me know if I have done anything wrong and I will attempt to correct.

I'm trying to define a +2 Scimitar that uses INT modifier rather than STR modifier.

I have never made a custom item before, but started by creating a custom item through PcGen, based on a +2 Scimitar.

In my character PCG file I can see this:

EQUIPNAME:Scimitar +2 +INT MOD|OUTPUTORDER:3|COST:8315.0|WT:4.0|QUANTITY:1.0|NOTE:|CUSTOMIZATION:[BASEITEM:Scimitar|DATA:NAME=Scimitar +2 +INT MOD$EQMOD=STEEL.PLUS2W$SPROP=(Scimitar +2)]
EQUIPSET:Primary Hand|ID:0.1.03|VALUE:Scimitar +2 +INT MOD|QUANTITY:1.0|USETEMPMODS:Y

Is it relatively easy to do what I wish ?
May I please be shown how to make the file changes?

Character: 11th level Magus
PcGen version 6.07.05

Welcome to the forums & PCGen community!

What is made by the internal customizer isn't want you want to use as a basis for what your custom data.

Thanks for the advice.
I'll watch the videos and give it a go.
I realised the internal customiser wouldn't do the complete job, but I thought it might get me partly there, and I could edit the files to complete the job. I'm probably mistaken, but thought it worth a shot.
