Topic approved / Post approved emails...

I don't think I've ever seen a forum / bulletin-board send an email notifying that a Topic or Post was approved, before. Honestly, I'm finding it kind of annoying.

Perhaps an email if a topic or post was blocked... but an email on every approval? Seems unnecessary.

Please reconsider this "feature".

Thanks

It's up to the moderator to let you know or not. And it's only for your first five posts. After five, we figure you're not a spam bot and can post freely. Though we can bypass the 5 post requirement for those we know. Did you notice? No Email notification. ;-)

Oh, and I dropped you from the mod list, so no more worries. The notify user is checked by default, so the mod is required to uncheck it before hitting the approve post button.

Cheers,

And there isn't an option in Tapatalk to uncheck when approving.

Well, that's annoying. Let me see if we have a setting to disable that default then.
